As Melbourne’s second CBD, Box Hill will soon have its own Inst-famous laneway, Wellington Lane.

Cultivating Melbourne’s creativity and Box Hill’s cultural authenticity

Wellington Lane is another boutique masterpiece launched by Trio Box Hill in addition to the core amenities such as Whitehorse Square retail center, 5-star Childcare Centre, 4.5-star hotel,  and Premium Office suites. Wellington Lane is located in the North Plaza at the bottom of TRIO Box Hill and will extend from Box Hill’s new commercial landmark – “Whitehorse Square” to the outside.

This will be Box Hill’s first insta-famous laneway that inherits the cultural style of Melbourne’s laneways, and it is also a beautiful exploration of the fusion of modern and vintage.

An alliance of art, food and entertainment

Just across Wellington Road from Trio Box Hill, bustling Wellington Lane is one of the first Box Hill ‘laneways’. A pedestrian walkway linking the city’s fashion precinct with Box Hill Institute, it remains an iconic and sociable spot for drinks, dining, browsing and people-watching. Join the happy hubbub, which at any time includes students and shoppers, tourists and lunching office workers.

Take your friends from out-of-town for coffee or a wine at stalwart Wellington Lane, a quintessential Melbourne spot, or grab a cuppa from hole-in-the-wall Tulip Coffee.

Though the vibe cast by the cafe umbrellas in the shadow of the impressive TRIO Box Hill is somewhat Melbourne City, dining on Wellington veers towards the Morden Asian, with High-end resturant on Upper Ground Floor leading the casual but stylish charge. For those keen for a sweet treat, there’s bubble tea shop, cupcakes shop and Italian gelato.
